Hi,
I am an Indian MBA student on F1 visa. I am currently in my first year of study. I intend to marry in November next year, and if possible, bring my wife with me.
Questions:
1. Since I want to bring along my wife immediately after marriage, she will have to apply for the dependant visa (F2?) before November. Problem is, she won't be married before November. What is to be done?
2. One possible option that I have thought of is to marry her through registry earlier for her to apply for the visa with marriage certificate, and then have the social marriage in November. Problem is, I have to go to India for that, and then again in November.
3. Can a student on F1 bring his fiancee on F2? Note fiancee, not wife.
I will be grateful for any relevant advice.
