Travelling to Korea via Shanghai

Hi all, hope you're all well,

I have an upcoming trip to Korea on the 9th of October, as I'm a British Citizen I was wondering if I need any sort of prior visa to enter Shanghai, I intend on staying within the airport and it's my understanding that I can stay in there providing I have a connecting flight to Seoul, which I do, to enter Korea according to my government website I'm not required to have a visa or KETA either.

Could anyone confirm this? / Do I need to do covid testing or anything?
