Trying to get Chinese visa as an ABC

I’m trying to get a Chinese visa as an ABC but the visa agency is asking me for my parents documents from when I was born. I know my mom was a US Citizen but I think my dad was 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 on a green card. If I were to apply for a travel document instead and decided to spend some time in China, would it be easy for me to get a Hulu, drivers license, internet etc since according to China I am a Chinese citizen?

Anyway, if your father had a green card at the time you were born, you would not be a Chinese citizen, but if your father was a Chinese citizen who didn't have a green card at the time you were born, and your mother was not a Chinese citizen at that time, then you would be a Chinese citizen. You would need to figure out whether your father had a green card at the time you were born first. (Though the PRC consulates don't always interpret these things consistently, so you may get different results.) Also, whether the PRC consulates will even issue Chinese Travel Documents to dual nationals after turning 18 changes from time to time.

Yes, I agree with the previous statement that it all depends on at what stage your father received a green card Because Chinese citizenship can be obtained by right of blood - if the child was born in China and either of his parents is a Chinese citizen. A child who is born abroad will acquire Chinese citizenship unless he or she and either of his or her parents have obtained foreign nationality or permanent residence.
