Approved I-140 & STEM OPT EXTENSION

Hi everyone,

I received approval for my I-140 (NIW/EB2) three weeks ago and submitted my STEM OPT extension application about four days ago. A friend recently mentioned seeing on LinkedIn that an approved I-140 might conflict with applying for a STEM OPT extension.

I’ve already reached out to my lawyer for clarification but wanted to share this here as well in case anyone has insights or similar experiences.
