  • Traveling to hometown F1 and F2

Please forgive me if there is anything wrong. I would like to ask everyone about my case. I came to the United States on a visitor visa, but I changed my visa from a visitor visa to a student visa. I plan to go and pick up my child from my hometown. Can I go and comeback https://19216801.onl/https://192168ll.link/ ?

US visas are solely for entry to the US, and you cannot get an F1 visa from within the US. Do you mean that you did "Change of Status" within the US, to change from B2 status to F1 status? If so, you still don't have an F1 visa. If you leave the US, the next time you enter the US you will need to have a visa corresponding to the status you wish to enter into. So if you wish to enter into F1 status, you will need to get an F1 visa at a US consulate abroad, while you are abroad. If you want your child to enter into F2 status, you will need to get them an F2 visa at a US consulate abroad.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
