I have a couple of questions that I am hoping to help me with.
I completed my MBA on 11 December 2010 and submitted my OPT application on 15 December 2010. I have used 18 months of CPT (6 months FULL TIME and 12 months PART TIME) during my MBA. My 60 days grace period got over on 10 February 2011. Now USCIS has sent me a mail asking for additional documents. I can send the requested documents. But I am not sure if I get my OPT or not. My OPT application is pending now.
1. Can I cancel my OPT application (the 60 day grace period is expired) and take admission into the University for course?
2. If my OPT is denied, then can I take admission for any course?
or what are the options I can have to maintain my legal status in U.S.?
I greatly appreciate if anyone can help me with.
