I am On OPT Extension Need F2 visa for my wife

Hi all,

I am on OPT Extension which ends in May, 2012. I wanted to apply F2 visa for my wife next month end. I have job, pay stubs etc..docs.

What arethe chances of getting visa in chennai consulate. Please reply me with your valuable suggestions. Shall i consider B1 visa to her instead?

Since possible reason for denial is immigrant intent, Visitor Visa will not change anything.
She needs to have convincing answer as to what she will do in the US (because she is not allowed to study or work in F2 status). Having property, family, job ties and convincing answer to your future return plans is also helpful.
