Status of Dependant F2 Visa after divorce

am currently on F2 dependant visa, i plan to apply for divorce. i have already left USA and am in india at present.my i-20 end date was april 2011. i still have not applied for divorce, is there any alternative visa i can apply in this case before divorce to re enter USA again? can someone guide me regarding this.
