DS 160 F2 confirmation page

Hello,

I filled the DS 160 application for my wife who will apply for a F2 visa. I chose myself as a principal applicant and gave my SEVIS ID and selected myself as a F1 visa holder. The last page asks for another SEVIS ID, where I entered my wife's SEVIS ID and then asks the question if she intends to study in the US. I chose NO and submitted the form. The confirmation page asks her to bring the SEVIS receipt and DS 2019. Shouldnt it be I-20 instead of DS 2019? Do let me know if you have had similar problem and any fix for it

DS 160 F2 confirmation page

I am also an F2 applicant and I am facing the same problem. My DS 160 confirmation page is showing DS 2019 rather than I-20 where as it shows I-20 for my husband who is an F1 applicant. I have called VFS several times. however I havent received any proper reply.

I have tried clicking the (yes option) in the question ( Do you want to study in US) and only in this case my confirmation page shows I-20.

However I do not feel that this is the correct way as I am a dependent and do not intent to study in US.

Can you please advice if you have found a way to overcome this problem??
