I have currently completed 2nd semester of my masters program and i got accepted in to entire fresh another doctorate program. I am thinking to go for the new doctorate program and going to drop out my current one. My 3rd semester of current program starts in august and i want to transfer my SEVIS before that...but I am currently in India for summer break based on my current I-20 (the program from which i am thinking to drop out). I also have traveling signature on that..so can anyone please suggest me should i enter US based on my current I-20 and then complete the transfer procedure or should i have to re enter US based on my New (Doctorate) program I-20??? thank you...any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated...
