Letter of support from program director- when should I give it to the consul officer?

Hello,

I have my visa interview next week and my program director has written a letter of support for me since my F1 visa extension was refused about 2 months ago (only need 1 class to graduate). I am pondering, if I should give the letter to the consul officer along with my passport and I-20 or I should wait for him to ask for it. However, there is good chance that he might not ask for it at all.

how does it work? any advice/suggestions?

can anyone please suggest what I should do? Is it ok to give the letter from my program director along with my passport and I-20 or should I wait for the VO to ask for it? Please I really need advice on this since I really want the VO to read the letter. But at the same time I do not want to seem desperate.

Give b4 the vo ask so as 2 show real seriousness abt ur intention of graduation.
