Urgent Help - Doubts on visa conversions

Hi I am on F2 visa. My husband is converting from F1OPT to H1B visa. I got an admission in a school for Master's. So, my husband wish to transfer me directly from F2 to F1 instead of going around with H4 and later F1. But we already applied for a H1B visa for me and my application is in process. If we wait till my H1B application result is known with out applying for a F1 and if the result is of my H1B application is negative, would my F2 status be valid then (as my husband would be on H1B by then)? If my F2 is valid, what is the grace period for me to convert my visa to either H4 or F1?

Hi,
Once your husband H1b is approved and he got his stamping then you F2 is invalid. you need to immediately convert to H4. Otherwise you will be out of status.

Hey guys..I am applying for F-1 visa. now the thing is, I have done one silly mistake in I-20. I have taken my father's signature on 1st page of my I-20, which we have to taken if we are under 18. So, will it be a problem? what should I do? I have VISA appo. on 28th june.please help me..........
