OPT extension in a different area of a study

Hi all,
I am on OPT with MS in chemical engineering degree. I am working in SAP field as a consultant on contract with an end client. The letter from my consultant (original employer) says that I am working with them as a "computer system analyst". This title does not sound related to chemical engg field. Would this create a problem if I want to extend my OPT for 17 months?
I would appreciate a help.
