Dressing for VISA interview

Is it ok to go in jeans - Tee for US visa interview? Generally, it is advised to wear formals. I am going as an undergraduate student. Suggest. I have interview day after tomorrow. I am not so much used to of wearing trousers - shirt.

Yes it is OK to wear a pair of nice jeans and a sober t-shirt to the interview. However, you should avoid wearing destructed (torn jeans) and loud colored clothes.
