One of my friends for a f1 visa interview at the chennai consulate today and got a blue slip and they handed him back his passport.
He went to Texas A&M University for his ms last yr and had to come back after completing a sem there due to personal reasons. Now he is going back to a different school and had to apply for a new visa.
Now they ve handed him a blue slip and have asked for his transcript from his old school in texas.
How much time will it take to process his visa once he submits his documents. And will there be a reject beacause he wasnt asked for his passport? And the gpa in the semester in texas is less than 3. Is that a point of concern?
