This is my 3rd yr on M1. I came on M1 visa from India. I read some where that I cannot stay on M1 more than 3 yrs(May be I am wrong). Is there any way I can do change of status to some other visa(F1 or H1). I consulted two attorneys and had two different views. One said that I can change to H1 based on my India degree(Masters in Microbiology) but not based on the vocational education I got on M1. The other attorney said that I cannot change my status at all to any other visa. Please guide. Thanks in advance.
