URGENT: Dependent travel while OPT STEM extension under processing

Hi!

My OPT expires on July 11th 2011 and I recently (June last week) posted my docs for the STEM extension. My wife had to go to India cause of family emergency and now we are worried about her re-entry to U.S. Her visa is valid till Septemer 2011. My concerns are :

1) My current EAD card is valid till 07/11/11. Can she enter U.S JUST before July11th?

2) We received our latest i-20s for applying for the extension. Will that suffice?

3) Will she have to wait till I get my STEM ext EAD card (which can take 3 - 4 months)?

4)Can she travel if her visa is valid for 1 month and below?

ANY guidance is highly appreciated.

She should be able to travel before her visa expires. There will not be any problems. Make sure her I-20 has travel signatures and speak to your school DSO to make sure that your SEVIS is active.
