F1 to H1 - Request for Help

Hello,

I am currently on F1 Visa and pursuing MBA. My H1 is approved and will be effective from October 1st 2011. I request you to please guide me with the following information:

1. I have got a new employer. Can I get transfer from the original petitioner to the new employer..

2. I want to travel to India in the month of September and return back before October 1st. Can I travel now.. Will it be a problem at the port of entry, if I change my employer.

3. I am on F1 visa, My term is going to start on August 31st. Will it be a problem if I don't register for classes..

No problem, you will need H1 Visa and need to show the latest approval notice corresponding to whichever employer you want to work for.

3. I am on F1 visa, My term is going to start on August 31st. Will it be a problem if I don't register for classes..

If you are in US, you status is still F1 till Sep 30 and you must maintain status by studying full-time. Otherwise leave the US.
