Is it compulsory to go school after getting adjustment of status for a F1 student

I am an international student student and i have filed my case for Green card but its gonna take a year but i wanna know that after i get my adjustment of status (which is supposed to get in 3 months) is it necessary for me to join school in up coming semester as an F1 student. Kindly help me out by sharing ur knowledge and experience.

Do you mean adjustment of status (I-485) to permanent residence?

Or do you mean change of status (I-539) to F1 visa?

On what basis have you filed your green card?
