expired f2 visa

Hi all,

I am on F1 visa status and would be for one more year.My wife is here with me on f2 visa ,but here visa are expiring in Jan 2012.My question is can she travel within USA on her expired visa with valid f2 status(DS/f2 on her i-94).

would she be stopped at the airport?she doesn't have state id or driving licence with her she would be travelling with passport as her ID proof.

She does not need to worry about that. But it is a very good idea to get a state ID and use that for most ID purposes including airports. Passport should be kept in a safe place at most times.
