Joining school on H4 - Questions

Hi

I am on H4 visa and got an admission in to an university with scholorship and instate tution.
Is the scholorship applicable if I am on H4 visa status?

It really depends on the type of scholarship and what is expected in return for it. The school ISO would be the best to answer the question.

Thankyou very much for the reply.
The scholorship is awarded on the merit basis as I have very good GPA in my under graduation.
What is the basis of scholorship which can be applicable on H4.

Scholarship that is awarded in exchange for no work is okay for H4 visa. If it involves working on campus as a TA/RA/GA, you would have to change to F1. Also H4 status does not qualify for CPT/OPT/internships. You really need to discuss with your school on the pros and cons.
