Urgent Guidance Needed..

I am an Indian Citizen. I am on PSW(work Visa) in UK. I want to come to US for Studying. I applied for US Visa from UK in August. It got Rejected and they told me that they are not satisfied with my financial sponsor. Now i am again planning to apply for US Visa with all the necessary documents. Can someone please tell me, is it a problem for me to apply for the US visa from UK. Are there less chances of US Student Visa approval from UK for an Indian citizen. should i go back to India to give the Visa interview. Please guide me with the right approach.
