Which Affidavit of Support form for father in India sponsoring son for F-1

Which Affidavit of Support form is required for a father living in India who is sponsoring his son for F-1 visa for U.S.?
The form I-134 seems to be filled by a U.S. based sponsor. What if the sponsor is a father living in India? Should he fill out I-134 or some other form? Or should he just type up a generic Affidavit of Support document indicating the funds and duration of support?

Plain paper or stamp paper letter stating that he would support the F1 student is sufficient. Most likely it will not be asked for in the interview anyway. Bank statements are more important.
