Hi all,
My passport has been stolen.It contained my f1 visa and I-94.I want to know, if I apply for new passport here in usa ,will i get visa n i 94 printed along with new passport?
If not what is the procedure to get visa and I-94.Do I need to face any interview in india before starting to usa again?

Hi,

Very sorry to hear this.
Be sure you report your lost passport and get a police report. But unfortunately, your visa is gone. Only way to get a new visa is to re-apply in person outside the US at a US Consulate, either at home, or possibly in Canada or Mexico.

You can apply for a replacement of the I-94 card by completing the I-102 form ($330 fee, find at uscis.gov under "forms"). It takes a long time to get it back, 3-4 months. So if you're traveling again no point in paying the fee. Hope you have a copy of the one you lost.

Thanks a lot DSO member.I have a copy of I-94 ,so is it necessary to re apply for I-94? Does copy of it works when i leave usa? n when i again enter usa will i get a new i-94?
