Hi,
I am seeking multiple perspectives and suggestions on my F1 Visa renewal.
I got my F1 visa for PhD after clearing the administrative processing in form of 221g (pink slip) in July 2007 for University of Houston. I was given 4 years of Visa.
However, after my first semester, I changed my school to University of Delaware as I could not get a project of my interest in Houston. Now I have completed 4 years in Delaware and my visa had already expired 6 months back. I want to go to India and get my F1 visa stamped.
I have I-20 valid by the end of this year.
I have financial support from the department.
I have good grades and 6 publications.
Does anyone see a problem for me to get my visa renewed at this point? Any comment and suggestion in this context will be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks.
