F1 Visa will be expired soon but have to go aboard

I'm a F1 student. My u.s. visa will be expired on June 5, 2012, but I'm going to go back to my country for a fairly short trip (but it's to short for me to renew my visa), and I'll be back on May 12, 2012.
My visa and passport are both valid, but since it's only several days (May 12) before the visa expiration day (June 5), is it okay for me to enter U.S. without any trouble?

As long as your F1 status (I-20 or OPT) extends further beyond for a longer time, Visa expiry will not really matter. You can technically travel on the last day of Visa.
