I am a student from India.Currently, I am appearing for my F1 visa interview to pursue my MBA from US on the 13th of June. My concern is that I have applied for Canadian immigration in August 2004. My passport shows a stamp for the issuance of Police clearance certificate which I got issued at the time of applying for immigration. Apart from this there is no other visa on my passport. I am worried about my interview with the visa officer. Since My passport shows a stamp of Police clearance certificate, the visa officer might ask me questions relating to that. Please suggest me, what kind of questions can be asked from me in this respect and also, how should I answer them? Should I tell the visa officer that i have applied for immigration to Canada? Will this weaken my case for an F1 application? If you have answer to my questions, please reply me ASAP.
