EDIT...Title should read OPT, not CPT
Hi...Hoping I can get some help with a not so common problem...
So I have a company that wants to take my on for a paid internship (OPT...Thesis).
Im currently completing a masters and have completed all required units so just completing my thesis in Spring 2013.
Problem is my passport was stolen in February and my new passport (Irish) will hopefully be here next week. However, I see from the application instructions for the OPT that I am required to provide a photocopy of my I-94 card.
Now, my last I-94 card was issued to my when I last re-entered the USA (Jan 2011) and was stapled to my old (stolen) passport so I no longer have an 'I-94' hard copy
How can I provide evidence to USCIS of my I-94?
- I have a scanned image of the previous one in my old/stolen passport...will this be sufficient?
(I have contacted the office of international programs at my college but have not heard back from them)
Thanks for any help/advice
