  • F-2 visa rejected twice in 2 different consulates

    Hi All,

I got married recently. My husband is on F-1 visa but on OPT status. I first attended visa interview for F-2 visa in hyderabad and again in a month in Kolkata. both times i got rejected. Can any one here help me?

Is H-4 the only option? Will my 2 rejections in any way affect my H-4 visa?

    Any answers/help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

H4 is an option. F2 denials for 214b immigrant intent will not affect H4 application.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

Yes, as long as the reason for denial was 214b.

Yes, initially they gave 221g, but later again gave 214b.
