Any Change of Status to F-1 applicants here?

hey i applied for a change of status on 1st of october and on their website it says it was received on the 6th of october and now its december 15th and its still on 'my case has been received. does anyone know what i cud do. also i applied using d vermont service center.

I have applied for a COS from B2 to F1 on 14th February 2014, but still have not heard from the embassy. My school starts today and now I don't know the procedure ahead. My I-94 expires 28th June. Can anyone advise what to do in this case?

Anyone else who has applied in the same time frame?

i applied on the 21st of october to VSC, my application was accepted on the 22nd, and its still pending review, so i havent gotten a reply yet
my school closes registration on the16th of january, hopefully ill get it by then*fingers crossed*
oh, by the way does anyone know how to find out what month they are reviewing now, and when they will review october applications?

Same here tho waiting for a reply. I applied on 6th of October. I called last week friday and the cal attendant said they were currently reviewing applications filed on 22nd of setember. And that by mid January I shud have gotten a reply for my application.

ok, thats good news then, i just hope the registration at my school hasnt closed by the time i recieve my reply, cos then i'ld probably have to defer my admission and wait for another registration period next semester to start classes. What school did you get admitted into?

Hey Steph, since your 75 days wait time has expired, I think you can send a request to USCIS about the status of your request, and they'll be able to tell you when it'll be ready probably.

I tried to do that several times but they kept saying its within the given processing time. Dunno what they mean by that tho cos its gonna be 3 months by 8th of January and still yet nothing. Am so sad that I might not be able to make it for registration at my school on the 12th or on the 15th which is d last day.

Yep......no point in feeling sad, the best we can do is ghope and pray.
