Regarding F2 VISA

Hi,

I am suresh. I am in F1 visa but my visa is going to expire in july 30 but i have valid i-20 till 2014 . last month I entered in to usa with out any issues. now i am planning to bring my wife to here as F2 dependent. i got my f1 visa in 2007 and These is my second master's.
is there any problem b'cuz of my visa expiration date ?

Should not normally be a problem. In the worst case they will give a Visa until your Visa expiry only and she will have to travel to US before that date. But she can stay in the US as long as you maintain F1 status.

F2 Visa in general requires lack of immigrant intent. Your wife will have to show her strong ties to home country just like you did.
