Applying for F1, mendatory to mention married?

Hi

I am planning to get divorced as soon as I get my Visa. My passport has my maiden name. My marriage is registered.
I am going to apply for F1 ASAP, but not sure if I should mention 'married'.

If I do, then its not there in my I-20. Should I get a new I20? then what if I get divorced later?

Please help.

Answer all questions truthfully. Don't lie or hide information.
If you are married (not legally divorced) as on the day of interview, answer as married.
