I am from india, can we choose the US consulate for VISA stamping

I am from india, can we choose the US consulate for VISA stamping..as I am from madhya pradesh, India and this location comes under the circle territory of Mumbai Consulate, But i want to take Delhi for Visa stamping. Can I choose according to my preference or I have to go to Mumbai only ?
