F 2 visa help

i am in f1 visa and i am planning to bring my wife here on f2 visa.

Do we have chance to book visa slot in chennai or it's mandatory to visit only hyderabad consulate ?

she already got rejection in hyderabad consulate due to low funds in my account.
i am planning to book visa slot again but looking chennai consulate.
before that we dont have consulate in hyderabad, now consulate is opened in hyderabad.

It does not matter. Changing consulates is not going to make any difference.

F2 visa

Hi .. even i m sailing the same boat...

My F2 was rejected under section 214(b) in feb .. at mumbai consulate . I want to re- apply this time at another consulate . Is it allowed ??
I called up VFS office n they replied saying u can apply anywhere you want... Should i go for it.. ?
Pls reply i want to book date by tomorrow.

I would advise against it. Try Mumbai again.
