Hi guys,
I'm currently a graduate student.
I have been approved H1B visa, starting Oct. I will be quitting PhD this Fall.
I have received a xerox copy of my I797 from the attorney.
Fall starts on Aug 28.
I want to know -
1. How to stay in status from Aug 28 to Oct 1 without registering for classes?
2. Worst option is I register and pay fees for Fall. Then, quit on last date of refund (sept 25). Do you see any problems in this?
3. I have not re-entered US after H1 approval. So, I still have the old F1 I-94 and F1 visa stamp. My attorney advised me not to leave US. Will this cause any problem?
