Let's say I am scheduled to graduate in the Spring 2013 Semester, in which I will be registered for 3 credits for a research class. If i decide to not graduate at the end of the Spring semester and carry on to stay in the program untill the end of Summer semester(which is july end), then what happens to my F-1 status? Can I even do that? is it legal on F-1? Also, will i be able to work off-campus throughout the Spring and Summer semesters(CPT/PRe completion OPT)?
