HI! I am an international student in America. I came here 2 years ago on my J-1 visa, and last year I got it changed to F-1 visa. But my entry has expired last year with my J-1, and I need to go back to my own country this christmas, so I was wondering that what I could do to get the re-entry to america after leaving to go back to my country. Hope to hear from your great advices. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I guess the only way you can re enter the States is either by going to the nearest consulate for a interview and get it F1 stamped at your home country
or else, you might wanna check immihelp to see if you can get it done at Canada or Mexico I did hear from my friend's they did get it stamped
But the results of the outcome at Canada or Mexico is kinda mixed so you are taking a risk.
My best advise is - complete your studies, if you are looking at a career down here do get a job and then go home and get it stamped or else bring your close and dear ones down here for a visit
