Hello friends,
My name is jivan ,i had an interview (on 21st june)at Delhi for F1 Visa ,I was told by the consulate that I will get my Passport+Visa with 2-3 weeks as My research area is in bio-sciences and he told me to fill up a form which will be sent to Dept of homeland security for inquery at Washington,and I was told that by the Consulate that "I am issuing U a visa but Ur Passport will b sent between 2-3 weeks ".Now its almost 3 weeks have already passed ,I am concerned abt the status as no travel agent is issuing me a ticket without Visa and I am not Pretty sure wt is going to happen ,Is Visa is Issued or not by the consulate .As i spoke with few frds who also apeared for the interview in some other fields but they get their Passport in a weeks time .Is this a Routine procedure for the P.hd applicant or its just my case .If anyone is having any info abt this sort of condition then plz let me know at [email protected]
