TN Visa apply at the border for Mexicans?

Hi!

I am switching jobs and I need to get a new TN Visa status.

I live very close to San Diego, is it possible that I just go cross the border and get interviewed so I can return as soon as possible? I know this is an option for Canadians but for Mexicans I couldn't find much information.

Do they put a new stamp on the same day? Do I have to fill/pay my DS-160 form?

Any help is very appreciated.

You cannot get a "visa" at the border. Canadian citizens don't need a visa to travel to the US, therefore, they can just go to any port of entry without a visa and enter into TN status. Mexican citizens do need a visa to travel to the US, so you will need to get a TN visa first at a US consulate.
