Tn renewal requirements

Hello:

I have worked on a TN Visa this past year in the US but unfortunately, they cannot keep me the full year due to funding. They gave me plenty of notice and time to find other work, which I did. I'm preparing to go to the border tomorrow. Do I need a letter stating why the first job ended early?

Not required but have letter of release if possible

It is not required as TN is short term visa and ending less than year should not affect your new TN...

But to be better prep for question, Please have letter from current Employer (TN) Ending of assignment.
