Can I take a new role in US on TN if I am currently on L1A

I am moving to US on L1A visa but I do know for a fact that my company is kinda low balling me when it comes to salary.

My question here is if I apply for GC within a year under EB1C category. Post that will I be able to take up a new role on TN ?
