  • "What documents needed for I-129 approval?

Could someone please advise me on the specific documents required for my travel given that I already have an approved I-129 (the I-797B)? I have a few queries:
    1. Is it necessary to bring my original diploma and transcripts?
    2. Do I need to carry my citizenship card or is my passport sufficient?
    3. Is it necessary to carry the original omeglz or online2yu I-797B or will a copy suffice?

I will be flying through Toronto Pearson airport. Thank you for your assistance.

When traveling with an approved I-129 (the I-797B), it is essential to have the necessary documents to ensure a smooth travel experience. Here are some guidelines regarding your specific queries:
    1. Original Diploma and Transcripts: While it is not generally necessary to carry your original diploma and transcripts for travel purposes, it is advisable to have copies of these documents with you. In case there is a specific requirement or if you anticipate the need to provide proof of your educational qualifications, having copies of your diploma and transcripts can be helpful.
    2. Citizenship Card and Passport: When traveling internationally, it is essential to carry your passport. Your passport serves as your primary identification document and is typically required for international travel. While a citizenship card can be an additional form of identification, it is not usually mandatory when traveling with a valid passport.
    3. I-797B Document: It is highly recommended to carry the original I-797B document with you while traveling. This document serves as proof of your approved I-129 and validates your authorized stay in the United States. While it's prudent to carry the original document, it is also advisable to keep a copy of it as a backup.

When it comes to travel document requirements, it is always best to seek guidance from the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey. While I can provide some general insights, specific requirements may vary depending on your destination and the purpose of your travel.

Regarding your first query about bringing your original diploma and transcripts, it is advisable to contact the embassy or consulate of the country you are traveling to. They can inform you about the specific document requirements for entry or any other purposes. In some cases, certified copies or digital versions of these documents may be acceptable.

Regarding your second query, carrying both your passport and citizenship card is generally a good practice. Your passport serves as the primary identification document for international travel, while the citizenship card can act as additional proof of your citizenship if needed. Having multiple forms of identification can be beneficial in case of any unforeseen circumstances or as per the requirements of your destination country.

For your third query about the I-797B, it is generally advisable to carry the original document for immigration-related matters. However, it is recommended to consult with the airline or immigration authorities to confirm whether a copy of the document would be accepted. They can provide accurate information based on their specific requirements and regulations.

To ensure a smooth travel experience, it is also important to review the guidelines and requirements provided by Toronto Pearson airport, as well as the airline you will be flying with. They can provide detailed information regarding security procedures, document checks, and any additional requirements specific to your travel itinerary.

Remember, travel document requirements can be subject
