I got an intern offer last week, but I am not sure if this letter is OK for Visa application
Dear Steven,
We are very pleased to formally offer you the position of Actuarial Intern, with ZZZ, Inc. at our Jersey City, NJ location.
The terms of this offer, if accepted, are as follows:
1. Employment to be effective on or before January 24, 2011.
2. Your starting rate of pay will be $ YYYY per hour
3. All offers of employment are contingent upon your ability to establish employment eligibility under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. If you cannot produce acceptable documents within three (3) days of beginning work, your employment cannot be continued.
Your employment with ZZZ, is on an at-will basis and is not subject to a specific duration or term of years. This offer is not an employment contract and is not intended to create any contractual rights between yourself and YYYY Inc.
Please indicate your acceptance of this offer by signing and returning the enclosed copy of this letter
There are a couple of things confused me. 1. it does not indicate the duration of intern( it must have a speciafic time for TN Visa?)
2. it doesn't list job duties(Is it necessary to list job duties in Employment letter for TN Visa?
