My TN expired mid September this year without any luck in getting a job offer during the 60 days grace period. I went to Canada for two weeks and planned to enter US again on B2. However, I got B2 visa only until Jan 2nd since I had no good reason to stay in the US.
My question:
If I return to Canada and continue my job search from there, do I have to wrap up my assets (stocks and savings) in the USA? Are there any tax implications if I keep them in the USA https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/?
If I work in Canada for less than 6 months and manage to land a job in US, do I have to pay tax in Canada for that period?
