Traveling to India via Vienna/Zurich -- Do I need a transit visa

Hi,

I have a valid/Stamped H1B expiring in 2015. I am visiting India and this is the itinerary that i have booked for the trip.

Washington Dulles (IAD) - Zurich (ZRH) - Vienna (VIE) - New Delhi IGI (DEL).

The entire flight is operated by Austrian Airlines.

Would i need a transit visa when i reach Zurich or Vienna ??

Please assist.

It looks like you'll have to go through immigration since you'll be taking an intra-Schengen flight from Zurich to Vienna. So, I'd say you need a transit visa, though you could be required to get an actual visit visa since you'll be entering the country legally.
