Ireland Transit Visa

Hi,

I am currently on an H1B visa valid until 2016 and will be traveling to India in December. My itinerary is as follows:

Chicago --> Abu Dhabi --> Delhi ------ I have traveled this route before and know that I don't need a transit visa in Abu Dhabi

Delhi --> Abu Dhabi --> Dublin --> Chicago ------ In this route, I will be changing planes in Abu Dhabi and in Dublin.

The flight from Dublin to Chicago is operated by AER LINGUS and I am not sure if I will need a transit visa to change planes in Dublin.

Does someone has experience with this before or knowledge of how this works? All inputs are greatly appreciated.

If you're Indian, you don't need a transit visa for Ireland. In fact, if you have a valid British visit visa, you might qualify for visa-free entry into Ireland.
