transit visa in frankfurt (germany)

Hi,

My F1 visa will expire sometime in july, 2014. I am going to india this december (2013) (dallas -> frankfurt -> dubai -> hyderabad) for H1B stamping. Do i require a transit visa in Frankfurt (layoff of 3 hrs) ?

Any help is appreciated.

The answer to this is very simple and straightforward, so, I take it you haven't checked the website of the German embassy, or even searched the forum.
