I am German and going to marry a Haitian who has been living in Germany for several yrs.
Of course his family (4 persons, still living in Les Cayes/Haiti) will
come for the wedding in August 2007. Many of the flights that we have been checking have a stop over in the United States.
Can you give us some information on the visa: Do they need a
(transit)visa if they just change planes and don't leave the airport? If
yes: What kind of visa do they need? Do you know how much it costs for
each person? What documents do they need? What are the criteria for
obtaining the visa? (of course we don't want to book 4 expensive flights
before being sure that they are allowed to take the flights to the US) Do
we need to book the flights before they apply for the visa?
