Dear Sir/Madam,
I was wondering if you could give me some advice. My boyfriend, a Dominican Republic national, is planning to visit me in the UK this summer. He will get a tourist visa for the UK but will probably have to change planes en route in the USA. He wouldn't leave the airport in the USA, so I was wondering if he still needs to get a transit visa? Would he have to get a second one for the return leg? Or would it just be easier to get a USA tourist visa instead? I tried looking on the USA visa website but couldn't find any answers.
