Hi,
I have a friend traveling from Peru to the United Kingdom to study for nine months. The British student visa has been obtained and she holds a Peruvian Passport.
However, she will be traveling via Miami as her connecting flight is through this airport. She has no intention of staying in Miami. Can you please confirm if she will need any type of Transit Visa in order to enter the U.S and if so how long this will take to obtain.
